AIRS Level 2 Standard Retrieval Product Degraded

The AMSU instrument Band 5 has failed on the Aqua satellite. This has resulted in very few retrievals being made by the IMAPP Level 2 version 5.2 AIRS software that was supplied by the Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) (file names such as: AIRS.2013.05.12.188.L2.RetStd.v5.2.1.0.D13132192224.hdf). The JPL team is working on a version 6 retrieval package for direct package that will resolve this.
