It was announced at the Common CM workshop that ADL 4.0 had just been released. Judging from the quite recent updates to ADL 4.0 folders in the download area, it seems that the SSEC team is actively working on getting it ready for us users.
Any ETA? Thanks!

Re: ADL 4.0 availability?
Along with the ADL 4.0 release that was given to SSEC, there was also a patch produced which upgraded ADL 4.0 to the Mx6.0 final build. Previously ADL 4.0 had been frozen to an interim Mx6.0 build. This patch included both code and data (LUT, etc) updates. This patch proved more difficult to create than expected and SSEC ran into some minor issues when applying the code patch to the virtual machine. After correcting a few minor details, Raytheon is providing an updated patch to SSEC today. I would expect it'll take SSEC a few days to apply it again and test it out.
I will contact the SSEC team to see if they can provide a better time estimate.

Re: ADL 4.0 availability?
ADL 4.0 will be availble soon. It was desided to wait for the patch to become availble before posted ADL 4.0. We are in the process of testing the patch.
Re: ADL 4.0 availability?
Are there any updates on this?

Re: ADL 4.0 availability?
I sent the UW folks an email yesterday. The response I got was that the Raytheon patches checked out for them and have been posted. They're still doing a bit of testing related to the virtual appliance and the data install scripts.
If you're ok not using the virtual appliance, looks like you can download source from https://jpss-adl-wiki.ssec.wisc.edu/med ... /Downloads . Scroll down to the "ADL 4.0" section.
