Hi,
I am trying to pack a CRIS-SCIENCE-RDR and three SPACECRAFT-DIARY-RDR files into a h5 file.
First I unpacked a RCRIS-RNSCA*.h5 file with ADL_Unpacker.exe and I got these files:

${ADL_HOME}/tools/bin/ADL_Packer.exe -A 0 -c CRIS-SCIENCE-RDR SPACECRAFT-DIARY-RDR -t "2013-03-12 23:18:19.000000Z" "2013-03-12 23:23:19.000000Z" pack ${CSPP_HOME}/run_ADL/run/run_sdr/test_pack

I didn't see any error message on screen but I can't see a h5 data created in ${CSPP}/run_ADL/run/run_sdr/test_pack
I searched through the whole ${ADL_HOME} and can't find any h5 file created.

Finally I open the ADL_Packer.exe_20130510_152843_23677.log file in ${ADL_HOME}/log/,
A error is reported in the log:
2013/05/10 19:28:44.180.941 (23677.47184296142256): DBG_HIGH ADL_Packer.cpp|940|1368214124::ADL_Packer.cpp::GetData:940 - ERROR: RDR products not supported with packaging: CRIS-SCIENCE-RDR

The ADL_Packer.exe in ADL 4.1 does not currently support the RDR data type. It was not envisioned that ADL would ever have a need to produce HDF5 RDR files, since there is no way to create them in ADL currently. This functionality could be added to ADL but you will have to lobby to Paul Meade about this new feature request.

Hi all.

In help to ADL_Packer.exe ADL 4.2 indicated: Does have ADL_Packer.exe ADL 4.2 the support to pair "CRIS-SCIENCE-RDR SPACECRAFT-DIARY-RDR" and pair "VIIRS-SCIENCE-RDR SPACECRAFT-DIARY-RDR" now?

For "VIIRS-SCIENCE-RDR SPACECRAFT-DIARY-RDR" i had next error: If add new config or edit exist config in ${ADL_HOME}/ADL/cfg/, whether it's solution?

It looks like you're getting the same error that 'xjin' reported two years ago in ADL 4.1. The RDR packaging capability has not been added to ADL 4.2, so Bryan Henderson's comment is still applicable.
