VIIRS data anomaly 17:22 UTC, 9 October 2014

The S-NPP VIIRS instrument experienced and anomaly at 17:22 UTC today, 9 October 2014.
Systems engineers have verified the state of the VIIRS instrument, and recovery will begin on Svalbard contact 15286 beginning at 19:22 UTC. VIIRS will be outputting valid science with the exception of the Day-Night Band which will be affected until all 4 DNB tables are loaded. The 4 DNB tables will take approximately 2 additional passes to load.
